How worthwhile is a stationary bike (exercycle)?
I have one I bought for $5 at a yard sale, but lately it’s just a $5 towel-drying rack. Is this typical? Is it really worthwhile to pedal this thing?
Comment: I don’t want to lose weight. I’m underweight. I would like to build a little leg muscle & shape before it’s hot enough to wear shorts & Capri’s, & I’d like to get a mild form of aerobic exercise. Is this a good alternative when it’s too cold & windy & rainy to take walks?
Try doing it on a high level and it will work the legs……..but it is worhtwile too.
