How to bolt down a weight bench in a concrete floored basement?
I have a weight bench that is easily out balanced with an olympic weight set. It is so tipsy I have to place at least 100 lbs at the foot of the machine. It’s a clumsy mess and sometimes the weights fall off from stress. I would like to avoid injuring myself by bolting the weight bench directly to the concrete floor of my basement any suggestions on how to do it??
rent a hammer drill and use anchor bolts. I don’t trust the lead anchors for your application, too soft.
3/8″ is about the smallest I’d go, use washers if needed.
