Boxing Heavy Bag
What kind of boxing heavy bag should I buy?
My whole life is filled with strees, yet whos life isnt. I was at Dicks Sporting Goods and they had some 100lb heavy bags set up so I just started punching it. It felt pretty good and relived some stress. Plus I just want to get better at fighting/boxing and I want to buy a heavy bag. I want it to be 100lbs. I have no clue which brand to get or which miterial or anything. Help please, thanks =]
Im going to buy a stand for it.
Buy a leather one. This will last much longer than a pvc type.
If your boxing, 4 ft should be sufficient. Kick or thai boxing will need a 6ft bag. Also you need to think about how your gonna hang it. Do you have a garage, or is it gonna hang on your wall? You should also think about getting some lessons, so you know how to punch effectively while maintaining a guard, and learn good habits.
