Strengthening my ankle?
‘m a 13 year old girl and I’m in volleyball. I first rolled/ twisted my ankle when I was in softball this summer (June). I twisted it again at around my 3rd practice. This is mid/ late August, lately it has been happening a lot and I have to ice it and put some heat on it. I have not gone to the doctor about this, it doesn’t hurt too badly it just hurts enough that I can’t put weight on it. I have been using a ankle brace but it provides no support all it does is warm my ankle. I have rolled both of my ankles but my right one is the one that keeps rolling. Every night I strengthen my calves, I stand on my toes then go back down to the ground 100 times. I have been doing this since I started volleyball. I am going out for basketball and Track, I would like my ankles to be strong. Any ideas?? How can I strengthen my ankles better? Thanks

Sorry I forgot to add I am getting new ankle braces for both ankles.
If i were you i would go to a physiotherapist, they will give you the best exercises for strengthening, and also, you can get a good ankle brace from them.
It seems you have weak ankles, so I would get one brace for each ankle. At least then you don’t have to worry about time off from sports as much 
Strengthening your calves is good, as when you are out injured, they contract, but you need proper ankle exercises to properly strengthen them, as calf exercises don’t actually do that much for your ankles.
Do you just sprain your ankle, or do worse damage, eg. torn ligaments etc.?
But definitely get to a physio asap. If you can’t get better braces, try strapping your ankles under the brace? That worked for me too
