Would advertising my business with a car decal be a good idea?
I have become a Tastefully Simple consultant & am quite eager to get my business rolling. The company offers decals you can put on your car to promote your business. If you saw a decal on a car would you be inclined to call or go to the website? What are your thoughts on it? Please only courteous helpful answers.
The decal would be a static cling sticker for the back window or a magnet for the side of the car. Definitely not the whole car type of thing! LOL!
I think it’s a very good idea. It’s basically free advertising that a large number of people will see. If you were going to work out how much similar advertising, say, on a billboard would cost you – you’d find that you’re saving thousands of dollars.
When you’re running your own small business you really need to utilize every possible means of self-promotion you can. It would be great if you could personalize it a bit as well – with your first name for example.
You need to really work hard at selling yourself, because business wont just walk in the door all that often.
