Clip Double Eagle
What do you think of this electric airsoft gun?
Just want to double check that this is a good starter gun. I just need a decent automatic airsoft gun to use against my friends. Also, I have a question about it. Were is the battery. I think its in the clip but im not sure, please help.

Read all the reviews and it just looks like the only problem with it being brocken or not working is from basically the careless mailman.
It’s a MAGAZINE, not a clip. The magazine of this airsoft gun actually holds BB’s (never buy anything gravity fed). I believe the battery is held in the upper receiver, under the hand guard.
As a starter gun, great — I would always go with DE when buying LPEG’s. As far as I can tell from tests and reviews, they have the best $60- AEG’s on the market. For any serious use, it’s useless. It won’t last long under moderately heavy use, and its performance can’t even be compared to that of a $100+ AEG. Also know that accessories (such as mock suppressors, lasers, scopes, etc.) are, 99% of the time, only there to make you think you’re getting a good deal, and to hike the price up. They rarely if ever work well, or at all, and are very cheaply made.
It’s main problem is that it’ an LPEG, and poorly constructed form cheap, low quality materials. But that’s what you get when you buy AEG’s under $100. It isn’t the mail carrier’s fault, it’s the fact that it’s cheap. And for a first AEG, or one you’re only going to use for backyard skirmishes, there’s nothing wrong with that. It’ll do everything you need it to unless your friends have high(er) quality airsoft guns.
Just a note: when you save up money for when/if you decide to buy a good quality MPEG or AEG, Amazon and eBay are two of the worst places to look. If the item isn’t junk, the retailer is, with two exceptions (to both): PyramidAir and eHobbyAsia (both of which have their own websites).

AirsoftGI is arguably the best in the US. They have an extremely intelligent customer service team, average priced, a great selection, the easiest navigation of any airsoft retail site I’ve visited, they carry nothing low quality, and there’s no bullshit information (like that product description is full of) about anything on their site. I would really suggest saving up a bit more and buying a shotgun. It may be to be pumped, but, hey, it’s only $45 after using the discount code, is one of, if not, the best budget shotguns on the market, fires 3 rounds at once, and is very well made. Also by DE. Their M3 line is a group of amazing clone shotguns.

And if you do buy it, only use good quality BB’s — the junk you find at retail stores, and all .12’s (with which you won’t hit anything over 250 FPS or so) are low quality, and will tear up the internals of your airsoft guns.
