Sparring!! Tips?? Help?

So me and my friend are gonna spar we don’t have any experience at all sept for YouTube videos and punching the heavy bag. So I was wondering what things I could do to beat him? We are very evenly matched same weigh, close strenght, he can hit harder but I am faster. So I was wondering what are some tips I could use to beat him?? He’s a
left handed boxing with a good left hook but I’m righted boxing with a good jab and combo! Help? Thanks were gonna be using mma gloves and kicks and wrestling stuff

1) go some where like a boxing gym if you wanna spar in boxing.
2) thats extremely dangerous unless supervised.
3) If you wanna win you gotta move. Stay light and bounce and don’t get caught in the corner. Also don’t be afraid of getting hit just keep your hands up and be ready for his punches. Use the jab to soften him and test the waters, then when he drops his guard take him out.
