Does this equipment(Iron Gym) really do the job?
Take a look at this site and listen to the commercial there about Iron Gym. Does this equipment really work? It seems so convenient to have and I could get ripped just like Rambo! They sell these machines at CVS, GNC, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Duande Reade.

Yes, the iron gym can do the job… but not quite to the extent they tell you in the commercials. Yes, it goes on your door easy. Yes, you can do pullups and it will support your weight (if you’re under 300 pounds). As a chin-up bar, it does the job.
But… they also tell you it can be used for dips if you put it in the floor upside down. It can’t – that’s kind of a lame way to do dips.
Also, they say you can put it at the bottom of the door to anchor your feet while doing situps. Sure, you can do that, too.
But here’s the deal – get the iron gym extreme instead of the regular iron gym. For a just a few bucks more, you get lots more flexibility, including the ability to do wide grip pull-ups. (With the regular iron gym, your grip can only be as wide as your door, while the iron gym extreme extends out a little and gives you more options to grip).
