Does anyone know if this method of tick removal works?
had a pediatrician tell me what she believes is the best way to remove a
> tick. This is great, because it works in those places where it’s some times

You can use Vaseline, too, which is probably better than soap. What happens is that you’re cutting off the air-supply to the tick, therefore forcing it to back out of the skin. Once the tick starts to ease it’s grip, you can then use a cotton ball–I use a tissue–to “help” it along.
The added benefit to this method is that you don’t accidentally leave a piece of the tick behind.
