I need to burn off the excess fat that covers my tummy and bum?

I have a big bum, and that little band around my stomach. I’m quite toned, the top of my stomach is very hard, i need to burn off the fat of my bum mostly because my bum makes me very self concious. I’m 17 and i always get teased about my big bum -_-. Its a self esteem trampler, i’d love to have a toned bum like rhona mitra in doomsday. I do exercise, mostly strength training like stomach toning and pushups.
Should i get up early in the morning and do cardio to burn off fat? Its muscle under fat which i reckon the reason why my bum is so big is because its got muscle underneath a big layer of fat.

A combination of cardio and strength exercises in the bum is the best, so jog (at least 1h) and squat (a lot of repetitions with low weight, and a few repetitions with lot of weight, but be careful with your back).
