Cross Trainer
how do i most effectively use a cross trainer?
I have bought a cross trainer, mainly to lose weight and increase cardio levels. Can I use it every other day? It also has a bike. Can I use the cross trainer one day and the bike the next day?
If your intention is to lose some weight with it I suggest you use the cross trainer or bike for 10 – 15 minutes before each meal. You dont have to sweat buckets of flesh, just speed up your metabolism. Alternating between cross and bike is fine, whatever you feel like. The important thing is committing yourself to actually doing the exercise. You need to go fast enough so that you are moderately out of breath, that means, still being able to have a conversation while exercising. Also remember that weight loss is not rocket science. Eat fewer calories than your body needs, then you will lose weight, eat more and the body will store it away. For a woman, the daily intake of calories should not exceed 1600-1900 calories and For men 1800-2200.
Drink plenty of water.
