hey! need a watch for the military. a little help plz?
hi i need a reliable “digital” watch thats not gonna break down or fog up on me .
can someone please recomend anything for me.
something durable and strong
im looking for features that include:
stop watch
pedometer- (distance step and running)
shock resistent
water resistent up to 100 m +
24h countdown timer
illumination
and if possible compass
I recommend a “G-Shock” watch, which you can find in pretty much any retailer. I bought one after several friends in law-enforcement turned me on to them, Obviously, with the work they do (i.e. hand-to-hand combat/wrestling with suspects) they need something that is durable.
I bought mine for working in a warehouse, where I was always swinging my arms around throwing boxes and the like, and inadvertently smacking my wrists into poles and such. I got tired of spending money for watches. My “G-Shock” lasted for over 5 years before I had to replace the battery, and it got smacked around but good. The only problem I foresee is the pedometer; the newer ones may have that feature; pretty much everything else you want is, and was, on my watch.
