What is the best electronic muscle massager?
I want to buy my father a electronic muscle massager. He has chronic back pain and his nerves and muscles are shot that he needs a powerful one. We bought one off of ebay for 10 dollars and its great for us..Its the one with the pads and sends shock and stimulates your muscles..but he tried it and can’t even feel it. So I want to get him a nice one…what are good brand names and types to look for?? I’m not wanting to pend too much…maybe 100 dollars. Thanks
you can buy the best one you can find but you are going to be disappointed in it for your dad, it isn’t going to do him any good. I know, I have been there, had some good ones and bad ones but none of them did what needed to be done, release the muscles that are pinched. Or at least I haven’t seen one that will do that for you. Once you find out how to release your muscles yourself, I doubt that you will ever look at one of them again as anything but a gadget that someone made money off of.
The best way I found to release your back goes like this:
Place your right elbow on your left leg. Take your left hand and put it over your right shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine and press in on it and hold that pressure on it.
Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body.
Lean into your elbow and wait for the release to happen, it will start in your lower back and work upward. As it happens slowly lower yourself forward as it is releasing until you are laying flat on your left leg. continue to hold as long as releasing is being felt. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for one minute longer.
Do the other side.
For lower back, below the belt, best done in shorts:
Take both hands and reach behind and place on the muscles on either side of the pain. Press in and wait. Relax again.
When the release happens. slowly lower yourself forward until you are as low as you can go, continue holding as long as releasing is being felt. Then remove the pressure but hold your body there for one minute more.
