Could Hula Hooping be too easy for me?
Hi… I am a 33 year old female. 5′5″ 152 lbs. I am your typical apple shape. While I have lost 25 lbs this past year through diet and exercise… I would like to trim more inches off the midsection. I don’t really care about the number on the scale.
My workouts usually consist of 40 minutes of eliptical training 5x a week and 30 min. weight training 3x a week. I also recently started doing spin/indoor cycling, which is so fun for 1 hour 3x a week.
Anyways I bought a hula hoop with the hopes that it would help trim the midsection, while being fun.
I remember that it was really easy as a kid… but thought it would be a challenge as an adult. That was wrong… it is soooo easy!!! I have a 3lb weighted hula hoop and I can literally do it for at least 45-60 minutes non stop.. without breaking a sweat. Is it even working????
Yes it is working but if you want to feel it working you should try some hoop dance. It’s very fun and you can do heaps of tricks. It gets you into a sweat. You can buy dvds but i just did it myself. It much more interesting than just spinning it around your waist.
