Estimated calories per workout?
What is a good calorie goal to burn in an average workout at the gym? I usually do 30 minutes on the Elliptical machine and then about 10×5 reps on a variety of machines and situps..just wondering what a good calorie goal is to lose weight at a steady and successful pace..A calorie chart (just to show like what weights burn or exercises do with calories would be great) I weigh 180 and i am 5′6. I have been active my whole life except when I went through a hard time in middle school and gained a lot of weight. I was in track and swimming all 4 years of high school but I needed more target training. I have just been a bigger girl with a larger muscular frame. Advice and tips from fellow exercisers/health conscious people would be great! Thanks in advance.
I do eat healthy and I try to work out at least 4 times a week. I have lost a little over 15 pounds since June.
if you lost 15 pounds since june you are doing the right things.just keep going.
doing cardio and working out with weights increases your metabolism which means your system burns more calories all day long then in a sedentary person.
try to do 15 more minutes cardio at high intensity and see if you don’t drop weight a little faster.
