How to lose weight and burn fat from your computer desk
The common overweight/obese person doesn’t want to go far out of their way to lose the weight. Some people, like my self, just want an easy alternative to going to the gym just to run the tredmill or ride the stationary bike. There is a solution to both of these senarios!
I thought about this when I was planning on going to the gym for some cardio in my “off” days. I remembered that while I was at the Gym, I brought an issue of Muscular Development and started reading as I rode the stationary bike. Before I knew it, I started sweating and I took a look at how many calories I burned, and I was already well over 200. I went back another day without anything to read or distract me from the exercise, and I was so bored that I wanted to quit just after 50 calories.
I thought since I had a magazine to distract me, why not try to find a way to use my computer to entertain myself while I exercise to take my mind off of the duty at hand? I’m using this article to demonstrate an easy way to burn calories whenever you want and make your computer time more productive. I even sent this to my grandfather who’s complaining that my grandmother is making fun of his man boobs. You can easily place this machine or something resembling it to use the computer and burn some calories at the same time. You can even sit on the couch and cycle while watching TV.
Low intensity, long duration exercise is best for fat loss. That’s why you see many bodybuilders walking for hours on the tredmill before a show. This is actually the reason I looked into it because my cardio is more of a time-consuming task, and this fits perfectly for curing boredom. Get cycling!
