Will I get a six pack?
I am 13, and I want a six pack. I already can see the area on my chest where my six pack will be, and I don’t have a lot of body fat. I am going to the gym about 5 times a week, and I use an ab machine. I only put about 30 pounds on, but I do atleast 50 reps. I have a little bit of fat on my stomach, but I do 40 minutes of cardio. How fast do you think I will have a six pack (or something resembling one)?
Sorry, i meant to say atleast 2 sets of 50 reps. Usually more.
Oh, I don’t want to be like HUGE or anything. I just want a good flat stomach with visible abs. Thanks for the great replies so far.
At 13 you are still growing and developing. The things that you want to focus on now are the good habits that will stick with you for life…
– Clean diet (the biggest part of the battle)
– Religious workout program
– Focus on the goal
– Don’t focus on the slips, missed workouts, blown meals – just concentrate on doing better in the future
– Remember that permanent results take time and there are no short cuts
Now, as far as when you will see results, this will be dependent on how well you follow the above. Remember that you can do all the crunches you want and do 5 miles of cardio per day but if you diet is not in line, you won’t see your abs. As you develop and grow your muscles are going to the same. If you stay as focused as you sound in you question above, the results will follow you.
One item to remember on your ab workouts – don’t focus just on the crunches as you have 4 seperate areas of the abs that you need to hit. If you need a base line for a workout, check out Ab Boot Camp:
