Is the Superbowl really the biggest sporting even on earth?
They always say on ESPN and other channels that it is the biggest sporting game on earth measured by viewers. But where do all these viewers come from since the rest of the world doesn’t watch American football. Shouldn’t the World Cup technically have way more viewers. Especially the World Cup final?
Not sure if I’m right or wrong here. But why does everyone here always say that the Superbowl is the biggest game on earth? It doesn’t make any sense to me. I know people from different countries and nobody I know even watches it. And they are into sports.
No, but in USA it is.. FIFA WC 06 had 715.1 million viewers in the final, while 09 Super bowl had 95.4 million viewers .. therefore WC biggest sports event!!
