What is a micro mini skirt?

What exactly is a Micro mini skirt? I have seen a few online here but I cant really tell what makes them so much micro? And as a follow up where do I wear it?

There is no “standard” for the length of a micro mini skirt. It is whatever people want to call it. Many times people call a “standard” mini skirt a “micro mini” when they are not.

Heres what I found on the subject:

An analysis of skirts advertised on e-Bay (The largest collection in one place) resulted in this:
A mini skirt can be from about 10.5″ long to roughly 17″ long. Longer than that it is just a skirt.
Shorter thanroughly 10.5″ long it is a “micro” mini skirt. The average length of a mini skirt is 12″ long as sold in family department stores. (This is the length considered ok for most occasions). See roughly 32,000 mini skirts here:

Micro minis can look sharp yet most women will say “slut” which isn’t fair. Often worn to the beach as a cover up is the most common place to wear them but a dressy one can be worn for clubbing. Don’t rule out hiking, lounging, and many other activities.

The paranoia most women have about seeing ones undies is crazy! You see more at the beach. So as long as “something” is worn under it your good to go even with a flash now and then. Don’t worry about it. Yes they look sexy but did you know a micro mini is the same length as mens running shorts! A standard mini skirt is the same length as mens gym shorts so a mini doesn’t mean too short for anyone!! A skirt is the next big change in fashion for the guys! Mens fashion hasn’t changed in decades yet women (With their open minds and lack of homophobia that guys have) adopted pants but fashion designers hope to put men in skirts soon and there is no reason not to. In 70% of the world skirts are an option for men to wear. A real gay doesn’t wear skirts…they are looking for guys!
