Is it illegal for the military to look up your medical records from when you were a minor (edited)?
Ok here’s why I’m asking, I have orthotics at age 13. So I was just asking if they would want to look that up, or do the doctors only know what we tell them?
It is not only legal, they have to. If you don’t tell them about everything in your medical past, and it comes out while you are enlisted, then you will be court martialed for fraudulent enlistment. Which is a federal conviction. It will follow you everywhere you go, forever. So, the best thing to do is just tell them, and if they take you then, they take you, and if not, then it’s for the best.
