I hurt my tail bone…bad!?

Hi , I slipped last saturday week on a tiled floor, it had oil spilt on it( was at a party) and legs went straight up in the ear landed smack on the tail bone all my weight plus the full momentum . Was fairly drunk at the time, I did feel it but just gritted my teeth and got on with things..
Its been a week and a half now and the pain is still there, its only in a certain spot, when im in the gym i struggle to sit up off the bench without wincing in pain, also tried to play a friendly game of soccer last weekend but I couldn’t run with it. Am i right in thinking if it is fractured/broken i would be in severe pain constantly? is it just bruising? how long can i expect this to go on for? Need to start the sit ups again, summer is just around the corner!! grateful for any help. Dont bother answering if your not genuine…..
