Pokemon Platinum- How do you beat Cyrus in the distortion realm?
I am fighting cyrus like multiple times but i cant beat him, i could probably beat his other 3 pokemon houndoom, crobat, gyarados
but the thing that kills my whole team and stuff is his weavile, i cant beat him, because he keeps using ice punch on me like a spammer and i cant hit him or its that i can hit him its just that my attacks only do about half his life, then he wont let me hit him at all, but i don’t even know what his 5th pokemon is because i cant even get that far without dying, sooo plz tell me a strategy on beating Cyrus!
my pokemon are:
Torterra lv. 57 moves: earthquake, leaf storm, giga drain, strength
floatzel lv. 34 moves: swift, aqua jet, surf, crunch
staravia lv.33 moves: wing attack, fly, defog, aerial ace
porygon lv.25 moves: psybeam, shock wave, recover, magnet rise
machop lv.22 moves: revenge, karate chop, rock smash, rock climb
gible lv.22 moves: dragon claw, shadow ball, aerial ace, cut
Errr, well I know some of your problem is that you haven’t raised all your pokemon to adequet levels. No wonder they’re fainting in an instant. Rasie your pokemon some more and you should have a lot less trouble.
But if you’re depending solely on your Torterra then this is what you should do:
- You need to equip a speed enhancer to him (you don’t want to give him Carbos due it would be pointless and would in my opinion ruin his EVs). Give him a X speed before the battle to increase his speed so he has a better chance at hitting first as well as a quick claw. You should teach your torterra a: fighting, steel, bug, rock, or fire move due to those are his weaknesses. It will knock out Weavile faster.
