Round Foam Roller

It’s me again, with the flat hair thing!?

If you’ve read my previous question, you’d know that I’ve got possibly the straightest and flattest and thinnest and knottiest and greasiest hair possibly in the world. I’ve tried:
1. Curling it
2. Using hair mousse when blowdrying it
3. Hairspray
4. Washing it the night before
5. Not washing it for a day (never doing THAT again…!)
6. Using a ’round bristle brush’
7. Using foam hair rollers and leaving them in for hours
8. Blowdrying my hair, and then going over it in the cold setting
9. Not blowdrying my hair, and letting it air dry.
10. Doing all of them (apart from number 9) all at the same time.
And STILL my hair is EXACTLY THE SAME, AND I AM GOING INSANE!
Ok, I really need help. REALLY.

Unfortunately some hair just can not take a curl, no matter what you do. I would recommend using Paul Mitchell’s Thicken Up to give it some body. I use this myself.

The first thing you should do is use a clarifying shampoo to remove any build up in your hair. Do not shampoo your hair every day, this is contributing to your hair being greasy. You are over working your sebaceous glands by shampooing everyday. When you shampoo daily, your scalp thinks it is dry and produces more oil. I know it isn’t easy but you should go at least two days without shampooing to get your scalp back to “normal”.
