Sleeve Wrap Support
I need support about wearing the hijab.How can I stop this self-doubt?
I’ve been wearing it for about 8 years now but still I fear inferior when I am wearing it. Like I am not good enough for anyone, that no one would look at me twice or dare talk to me and I end up acting like someone who is not me. I wear jeans and long sleeved tops, the only thing that’s different from other people is a thin scarf wrapped around my head and that’s it.
I don’t wanna take it off at all, I like wearing it, but at the same time I really am filled with self-doubt, always worrying about what people think of me.I wish I could have more confidence in wearing it.

Sister there shud be no self doubt. How can u call urself inferior? Allah told us to cover for him, not to cover for man. Look at the society u live in. Newspaper shops have porn magazines all over the walls, they have all this anorexia, all the model fashion crap, why do u think that is?
They use women as sex objects and that is all. Why is it that when a new sports car or whatever is out, they get a girl in bikini to act all sluty for the cameras? truth is sex sells, and modesty has lost its place. If u dress correctly, ur voice will be heard, not ur body. When u sepak they listen to ur words, becuase they cant look at anything else. Look at their steroetypes, “dumb blonde girl, high school cheerleaders that are slutty” LOL! HONESTLY no wonder! we get these things like we are little dumb girls that just sleep around and flirt and act cute
