Why are the colalition forces in Afghanistan blessed with such an idiot as Commanding General?
I’ve read where he said that he won’t know if Kandahar is secured until the end of the year. What exactly does that mean? What happens on January 1, 2011? As a Math Major in college his fuzzy statement leaves me totally “cold”. Beyond that it leaves me super worried about the fate of my husband under that idiot. He is finishing his Infantry Training and is being assigned to a Unit that will be sent to Afghanistan. Now I am wondering if I should go to my husband before he deploys and let him inpregnate me with our second child (the first will be born on July 4th lol lol) so I can have two beautiful children in case I lose my husband to this Misdirected General’s tactics.
The article said he measures success if some Afghanis decide to represent the government in the city. Perhaps they can pay a few Afghani civilians to do that in Kandahar in exchange for risking their personal safety.
the infusion of another politician to command things has resulted in more excuses for failures. Obama and his gang are doing all they can to insure failure. What should be done is pull out and just wipe the place off the map. Wasting our lives to support the corrupt drug dealing people of that country is wrong. Trying to protect the innocent there causes more deaths of our troops and encourages our enemies. The right approach is to kill all those that aid the enemy and not worry about who is innocent.
