How can I start exercising at home?
Hello All,
I have gained about 10 lbs. over the past 2 years because I haven’t been doing as much walking as I used to (I moved from NYC within those 2 years) and I haven’t been eating as healthy as I used to.
Therefore, I am hoping to get back into shape now that the weather has been cool enough to not risk a heat stroke while exercising… lol. I bought myself a Torso Track exercise machine recently but I haven’t seen/felt the results yet???? You know – that good achy feeling you get the day after exercising. I was considering starting to jog around my neighborhood since I see a lot of people doing it on my way to work in the morning. I’ve never jogged before. Any tips?

2 words: Tae Bo!….I have been doing Billy Blanks’ for a while now and it is super effective! I would commit to Tae Bo 5 days a week and ate pretty moderately normal and lost 30 lbs (previously: 175lbs!) and saw my abs in 6 months!……..and it’s never too late to start jogging! Get a nice pair of shoes, preferably Asics (don’t like NikeShox!-They are crap and extremely overrated!) and start off sloooooow. Reason being, you don’t want to drain your body out. Try speed walking a mile, then jog the mile. Jog for mile, speed walk the second, and jog again for the third. This is called conditioning and this is what made me an excellent runner when I joined the Army.
