Is the Total Gym XLS actually as good as the infomercial says?
I saw an infomercial about it and was thinking it just might be the right thing for myself and my sister to get since it can go under a bed. We live in an Apartment but while the fitness room is good at the complex, I do not like switching between all the machines and they don’t really fit me all that well because I am fairly short.
I would really like to be able to exercise in the comfort of my own apartment but a treadmill is both boring and pretty much out of the question because those tend to be in the way and I don’t want to take up space I could use for other things too.
I am currently 205 lbs, and through changes in diet, I have begun to shed pounds but it is slow going right now and I feel like I need an exercise machine.
Go for it–great machine.
I have an earlier version ot the TotalGym, but it’s nearly identical with the new one.
It will definitely help you drop weight if you use it as an endurance machine. It has a great rowing simulator.
P.S. Ask them for a reconditioned unit–you’ll save a lot of money. Machines that have been “reconditioned” include returns that are in perfect condition.
