Training Mma Boxing
How to train for Ufc/mma or boxing?
im interested in just boxing or the ufc stuff. could anyone hep me with tips on training.
1. Customize Your Diet – This will maximize your workouts and give you an idea of where your optimum weight class is.
2. Pick a primary technique. Are you going to be a striker or a grappler? What training have you had in the past? What techniques do the gyms in your area teach? Remember, some martial arts are not MMA compatible.
3. Customize Your Workout. This will depend on the technique you are taking. Do you need to maximize flexibility, or work on brute strength? Any technique needs endurance. The best fighters learn how to strengthen their bodies at the same time they are learning their techniques, which allows you to maximize the time you do have.
4. Sparring – This will give you an idea of how far you have come, as well as strengths and weaknesses in your game.
5. Find your secondary technique – One dimensional fighters don’t last long. Ideally, you will find a technique that will help cover up weaknesses you exposed in sparring.
This should get you set up to be ready to be an MMA fighter. Good luck.
