Cross training shoes with ankle braces or basketball shoes, which is better for ankle support?
Which do you think would be better for ankle support playing basketball. I rolled my ankle really bad once (though, I was wearing tennis shoes at the time) but I never want it to happen again. It took me out of basketball and running for a year. Which do you think is better for ankle support when playing basketball, cross training shoes + ankle braces, or basketball shoes?
For basketball, you’re better off with high tops. But be careful because when your ankles don’t give then your knees will. That’s why a lot of the new bball shoes are lower cut so that players save their knees but give up a little more with the ankles.
