im UFC-style fighting a friend this weekend, Need tips.?
im 15, 6.0, 155 pounds i wrestled last year for 8th grade and im in my first year of football. I’m in pretty good shape, have a 4 pack, and am about the same strength as he is. Ive been in 2 fights before. He’s been in a few. were both friends, so were using UFC Grappling gloves. I need to win this fight. I need tips or strategies.
Uh, yeah. Here’s a tip. Stop having unsanctioned “UFC-style” fights when neither of you have any training or close-by medical attention. I bet you’re not even wearing mouth guards or cups. This is stupid behavior. Join an honest-to-God MMA gym, learn the techniques (and CONTROL!) and go spar there.
I’ve been training MMA for years, so I’m not some sort of hater. But there’s nothing good that can come out of some junior high kids punching each others teeth out.
